The Somerset Series concludes as usual with the short, sharp shock of the Brent Knoll multi terrain race. This race takes the form of a 6 mile-ish out and back race from the BASC Ground in Burnham, over the top of Brent Knoll and back. I am somewhat biased here, but it really is one of my favourites...the course has some steep climbs, sharp descents and mud (though it is a little easier these days now that Crooked lane has been gravelled). Following the race the Series presentations are made, the well stocked bar is ideal if you want a pint after your exertions.
